Without sounding unbearably pretentious, I have to admit that I am a renaissance woman. My mind is stimulated by damn near everything. And what better way to share such interests, than by creating a community of vibrant personalities and curious thinkers? There is so much hidden in the sublime: languages within languages, untold stories, heart-wrenching artistry and social movements worth giving a platform to.
The Muscle & Bone community was created for everyone; for us to learn from one another and understand ourselves. We'll explore all forms of media: cultural, scholarly, spiritual and especially of a social variety. As a 20 something year old (South African) postgrad student and writer, my desire is clear: generate healthy conversations and ideas for change and critical thought, even if it's at low impact.
